On the tracks of the Paprzyca/Kuszaba knights
Polish heraldists highlight that the Kuszaba Clan (also named Paprzyca) came from Bohemia to Poland most probably during the 1230s. They also report that they were related to the Woitmole/Weitmuhl families in Bohemia and Silesia. These familes used a similar coat of arms with "a silver milestone". German an Czech heraldists confirm these origins with much details. This page explores the tracks of our distant cousins, from the first mention of their name in 1278 to the extinction of the line during the early 17th c.
