The fantastic collection of Dorian
Dorian Ksiazyk has studyed forestry at the University of Life Sciences in Poznan. Nature comes first in all aspects of his life. His main hobby is shed hunting, a passion that requires much knowledge, endurance, and patience.
Dorian holds two impressive pairs of deer antlersfrom the Wielkopolskie Region (Western Poland). After examination of all characteritics, he concludes that they belong to the same animal.
These antlers weighted 9,7 kg when they were collected by Dorian in the Mazovia Region.
They score among the biggest ever recorded in Poland.
The antlers on the right is 4,3 kg, after losing 10% of its initial weight.
With time, sheds keep the same size but they become lighter.
From 2017 to 2021, Dorian has collected these sheds from a same animal.
Such findings during 5 years in a row are exceptional.
